HeritageQuest Online can be accessed from home or at the library. It is another great resource for researching family history. What are some of the collections and records you can search?

  • PERSI (Periodical Source Index, from genealogy and history publications)
  • Revolutionary War Pension Applications
  • Map Guide to the U.S. Federal Censuses, 1790-1920
  • Freedman’s Bank (1865-1874) Records

To access HeritageQuest, go to http://www.forsythlibrary.org. Then click on “Online Resources.” You will find HeritageQuest under the heading for “History.” At home, you will need to select “Forsyth County Public Library” and then input your NC LIVE password. Call the library at (336) 703-2665 if you do not know the NC LIVE password.
