THJuniorHist
We receive over sixty magazines, journals and newspapers. One of the best is “Tar Heel Junior Historian” magazine, published twice a year by the North Carolina Museum of History.

The current issue is one of the best ever. There is an excellent article describing how artifacts can lead to new historical insights. There is another on how to “read” a building.

And there is a terrific piece by local historian Mel White, “Spirit of the Past, Light to the Present,” a biography of Phoebe, a slave who lived and died in Salem.

Come by soon and read this magazine or one of our more than five dozen other periodicals.
