The short answer is a resounding YES. The Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, is the largest genealogy library in the world! There are also over 4,500 Family History Centers that provide access to the public to Footnote.com, research assistance on FamilySearch.org, as well as help with requesting resources from the Family History Library (see our previous post for information about the Family History Center in Winston-Salem).
Join us this Saturday as volunteers from the Family History Center of Winston-Salem explore FamilySearch.org, requesting resources from Utah, as well as the LDS’ ambitious genealogy indexing program to help genealogy records from across the world become available to the public.
