The NC Room recently acquired a new batch of county records on microfilm that may be of great use to researchers. For Forsyth County we have added marriage records up to 1914 along with apprentice bonds from 1875-1920. We have also added to our Stokes County collection with apprentice bonds, bastardy bonds, school, jury, military, divorce and slave records for assorted years. Finally, we have added Wilkes County to our collection by acquiring marriage bond records, tax lists and records of wills among among other county records. These records are from the State Archives collection and in many cases may be incomplete but we hope they will be a useful resources for our customers for years to come.
