Author, Jill Osborn, will speak at the June meeting of the Forsyth County Genealogical Society. She will discuss her techniques for interviewing people and writing. Both skill sets are important for genealogists. She has worked in a Congressional Office, a lobbying firm and several television news stations. At present she lives in Clemmons, NC, where she works as a stay-at-home mother as well as writing a weekly column for the Clemmons Courier, “Your Neighbor”. She is the author of a book “An Ordinary Town: Extraordinary Neighbors.”

Forsyth County Genealogy Society meets Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at the FCPLibrary-Central (auditorium), 660 W. 5th St., Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Social at 6:30 p.m.; program at 7:00. The meeting is free and open to the public.
